Mitchell & Ness is a heritage sportswear brand known for its iconic, vintage-inspired apparel that celebrates the golden eras of NBA, NFL, and MLB. As the official Australian home of the global brand, the local team brings a streetwear edge to classic sports nostalgia blending legacy with contemporary culture.

As part of the marketing and design team, we worked closely on creative campaigns and digital assets that reflected the brand’s bold visual identity and deep connection to sports fandom. 
From product launches to social content, our work aimed to celebrate Mitchell & Ness’s rich legacy while engaging a new generation of fans.

NAR is a Melbourne-based brand house specialising in licensed sports and lifestyle apparel, partnering with global giants like Fanatics, the NBA, NFL, MLB, and local leagues like the AFL and NRL. Their focus is on merging streetwear and sport culture bringing fan-favourite brands to the Australian and New Zealand market through elevated design, sharp retail strategies, and culturally relevant storytelling. One of their key brand partners is Mitchell & Ness, for whom they manage creative direction and retail presence locally.

As a graphic designer at NAR, I was responsible for rolling out creative across campaigns, social content, retail activations, and 
e-commerce for brands under their license particularly Mitchell 
& Ness. My role was hands-on across digital and print, blending with a team of strategic thinkers and domestic cultural insight to create design that resonated with sports fans and streetwear communities alike.

“Wear the Moment” is the latest brand campaign our agency concepted, directed, and rolled out for Mitchell & Ness, a sports heritage brand known for authentic, premium-quality jerseys, tees, and jackets from the ‘90s and earlier.  The campaign aimed to build brand awareness across Australia, solidifying its presence both online and on the streets. Through a dynamic campaign video and visuals, we spotlighted the nostalgic yet timeless appeal of Mitchell & Ness, capturing its connection to sports culture and streetwear.

Retro Round - Richmond Tigers

Retro Round is a historic AFL event celebrating classic rivalries at the MCG. I had the honor of creating billboards and rock posters placed around Richmond Station and the MCG, serving as home-ground assets for the Richmond Tigers. This was my first-ever print media placement, making it an incredibly exciting milestone. Additional assets were rolled out for merch stands across all Roar Stores, capturing the spirit of tradition and fan pride.

We aimed to boost brand awareness and tap into sports nostalgia by celebrating Michael Jordan's legacy. Working with our social media strategist, we developed a budget-friendly narrative using existing brand imagery and public content. An AI voice generator added a nostalgic voiceover that captured our brand’s essence. The final result was an engaging social media reel that honored Jordan's greatness and resonated with our audience’s emotional connection to iconic sports moments.

Authentic Goods by Mitchell & Ness is a premium capsule blending sports heritage with elevated streetwear. For Winter/Autumn, I collaborated with Art Director Roxanne Schultz on a campaign balancing nostalgia and modern edge. Shot in an industrial setting, the visuals emphasize clean lines, muted tones, and premium textures, embodying the tagline From then. For now.

I served as lead videographer and editor for this nostalgic Orlando Magic campaign. Set in a blue theater on theme to the Orlando Magic, the video paid tribute to the team's legendary players like Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway. I also storyboarded the project, crafting a narrative that highlighted the nostalgia of the Orlando Magic while showcasing a premium limited edition range.

I co-edited and animated this vibrant campaign for Mitchell and Ness, inspired by 2-on-2 street ball and the film White Men Can't Jump. Shot and graded by our DP, the video blended fast-paced basketball action with slower, still moments to showcase the colorful, Venice Beach-inspired garments. I also incorporated mixed media elements like 16mm film replicas and street art doodles to capture the essence of Venice Beach culture.
